This immaculately-kept yacht is the C400 MK I two-cabin model built in 1995. The spacious owner's stateroom in the stern has twin hanging lockers, abundant storage and centerline king size double berth. The forward stateroom has a V-berth and hanging locker. Each cabin has a private head with shower. Sleeps seven comfortably with 3 temporary berths in the main salon. The interior is nicely finished with varnished teak and holly. Ample interior space with 6? 6? headroom in main salon. Rigged for easy handling by a sailing couple. This C400 MK I is very sturdily built, with a keel-stepped mast. This is one of the key features that the MK II?s do not have. The twin helm configuration suites the broad beam carried aft and allows easy movement throughout the cockpit, particularly for accessing a dinghy off the stern platform. The yacht, located in the Vancouver area, is fully equipped for coastal cruising and could easily be upgraded for offshore if so desired. She has never been chartered or competitively raced. A recent survey in 2011 concluded: ?(the yacht) was found in above average condition for a vessel of her age and class, she shows pride of ownership and as having received regular maintenance and upgrades. I found no significant defects in her hull, deck or cabin structures, her systems appear in working order and to confirm to ABYC.?
